The world of the Call of Duty Warzone is going to change forever in Season 2. The outbreak of zombies has certainly given the map a brand new threat for everyone to deal with, aside from each other. In this season, the island map of Verdansk is at risk of falling prey to these undead beings. So far, the Vodyanoy ship has unleashed these miscreants that have taken over a few important areas of the game. Right now, the island is only at 5% contamination, but a new update from the developer points towards something insane.

Developers of Call of Duty Warzone hinted at coming events

The Battle Royale title is aggressively making a push towards an apocalyptic event similar to the ‘Outbreak’ zombie mode from Black Ops Cold War. Recently, the developers sent out emails and a package to YouTuber Inkslasher that contained a teaser. The package had a peculiar message that might come across as slightly absurd for the fans.

“Clean up on aisle four Bring more than a mop. The place for killer deals. Their latest customers shop long after they drop” 

This message hints at a shopping mart. Meanwhile, the email had an image that suggested that zombies are indeed leaving the TV station area and are heading towards a new location. These two hints add up quite well, and it is safe to say, ‘Super Store’ will house these undead miscreants next. However, the image also had a secret message that clearly seemed like an announcement.

The same image also suggested that 33% of the map has been taken over by zombies. This is indeed a major increment from the earlier 5% contamination.

We are yet to see what this package and email hints at. It could either hint at a brand new map or standalone zombies title like Warzone, or Verdansk might get nuked out of existence. Either way, one thing is clear: a major zombies event is on the books, and it will be rolled out soon.
