Things seem to be heating up in the world of Call of Duty Warzone. The season-long Zombie’s Outbreak event finally seems to be reaching its conclusion. Alongside this, we have gotten a new Black Ops Cold War trailer signifying the end of season 2. Here’s a rundown of everything Call of Duty has to offer this week.

Contamination levels in Verdansk have reached 100%. This is a result of the Zombies from the Vodyanoy ship traveling across the map. The crewmates of the ship were exposed to a chemical compound that was believed to be extinct. As a result, they turned into the undead creatures we see today.

Throughout the season, the zombies have infected areas such as the Bank, Shipwreck, Prison, among others. In the recent update, we can see radiation zones spread across the Prison and Shipwreck locations. Coincidentally, these were the first two locations to be hit by the zombie outbreak. Thus, it would not be a surprise if these radiation zones moved across the map.

If you are in the radiation zone, it will damage you. Upon succumbing to the radiation damage, you will respawn back into the game as a zombie. As a zombie, you will possess three abilities. These include the charged jump, gas grenade, and EMP grenade. While zombies have a rich history in Call of Duty, this will be the first time that we get to play as one.

Call of Duty Warzone weekly playlist update

Most rumors surrounding Warzone have hinted that a nuclear missile will destroy Verdansk after it has been overrun by zombies in a season finale. Consequentially, the map will be replaced by an older rendition of itself.
