In Call of Duty Warzone, Fortune’s Keep is exclusive to the popular Resurgence Mode, which is a traditional Battle Royale mode without the signature feature Gulag. Fans loved the breath of fresh air that Fortune’s Keep brought to the game. Then again, every game has its share of issues and Raven Software has just addressed a few of them in a small update to Warzone.

Call of Duty Warzone and Vanguard received a brand new map of the name Fortune’s Keep on June 22. With the addition of the new map, Warzone and Vanguard also entered Season 4, which added a ton of new content, meta tweaks, and a new battle pass. Although most of it seemed fine, players quickly pointed out the lack of buy stations on Fortune’s Keep.

Raven Software considered player and internal feedback and released a small patch to tackle some slight issues involving three features on Fortune’s Keep, including the lack of buy stations.

What the June 1 patch to Call of Duty Warzone includes

Raven Software attempted to fix the Buy Station numbers available across Fortune’s Keep in Warzone via the June 1 patch. So, players will now be seeing more of these on the map. Alongside the buy stations, Raven Software also tweaked the Mercenary Cash Extraction feature and the Fire Sale event in the game.

Mercenary Cash Extraction is a new feature that was added with Fortune’s Keep. As the event strikes, a helicopter appears and drops a bag full of rewards. This event will let players grab a lot of cash and head on to the Black Market Buy Station for premium loot.

Before the July 1 patch dropped, there was no said timing to when the event may happen in Warzone. According to Raven Software, the helicopter with a bag full of rewards can now appear in the second and fourth circle of a Warzone match, following the new patch fix.

Lastly, the Firesale Public Event will now happen in Circle 3 of a match. For those unaware, the Firesale Public Event allows players to buy items from Buy Stations at massive discounts. Some items are available for free too!

Although it was a small patch, players desperately wanted more Buy Stations to support themselves. Moreover, the Firesale event and Cash Extraction tweaks will also help players plan their match well.
