In a recent update, Call of Duty officially introduced the new AMP63 pistol into the game. There are two ways players can get their hands on this new machine pistol. Firstly, they can complete a set of in-game challenges to unlock the AMP 63 for free. Alternatively, they can purchase the Gamma Ray Store bundle for the price of 1000 COD points in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

The new pistol boasts a ridiculous fire rate and is lethal from close range. It is best used as a secondary weapon for snipers as it offers security against nearby enemies. This is the last new weapon that will be added to the game before the release of Season 4.

The list of challenges to unlock this pistol includes:

• Warzone – Using a Pistol, eliminate 5 enemies in 20 different completed matches
• Zombies – Using Pistols, get 400 critical kills

Double XP and bug fixes coming to Call of Duty Warzone

Raven Software has also taken to Twitter to update players on some in-game bug fixes. First and foremost, players on the Xbox One version of Warzone have been experiencing a memory crash issue at the end of a game. As a result, they may not receive the hard-fought victory that they have earned. Players on the Microsoft console have still not received a permanent fix as Raven continues to investigate this issue.

Furthermore, a DLSS issue has surfaced with graphics cards causing a player’s aim to go haywire. This issue results in a player missing shots even if they are scoped into the opponent. Raven promises a fix for this issue in a coming patch.

According to their weekly briefing, “Starting on June 3, Operators can jump into the Action Hero Moshpit to play both ’80s Action Heroes modes: Die Hardpoint and Rambo’s Gun Game! Also on Thursday, players can face off in the new Blueprint Ammo Gun Game mode, an all-new variant of Gun Game featuring a full arsenal of Weapon Blueprints with tracer and dismemberment effects.”
