As Call of Duty: Warzone inches closer to the end of Season 5, now is one of the most exciting times for the title. Apart from being stomped by blatant cheaters in-game, the end-of-season is always fun. Before the new content drops, kick-starting the next season, the devs always offer a taste of the new features.

In a video uploaded on their official YouTube channel, the developers reveal all the huge updates the fans can expect to see soon. The season six cinematic brings forth all-new content from map updates to new weapons and much more.

The new season update is expected to drop in a little more than a week, as and when season five comes to its end. The last week of a season is always full of teasers and trailers of what’s to come. And it looks things are already in place for a huge update as Activision drops a cinematic disclosing all interesting features along with what the story is going to look like.

As far as the campaign is concerned, it looks like fans might head back to “the beginning of the end of Verdansk” according to popular Warzone YouTuber WhosImmortal. Verdansk might be getting destroyed again in season six; technically would be for the first time since the events take place in 1984.

The enticing teaser shows Adler’s return as a test subject for Stitch, with Mason making an appearance as well. Both Adler and Mason are shown to be in a bunker underneath the Stadium which later explodes, taking Downtown with it. These might be the potential changes coming to the map as reported by WhosImmortal.

The devs highlighted the return of Mason as the new operator for season six, expanding players’ options, with a classic coming back to the field. But he’s not alone. Mason could also bring a few new weapons to the game. Earlier this week, leaks suggested that a new rifle, SMG, and lever-action shotgun could be added to the arsenal soon.
