Call of Duty Modern Warfare II players have finally received the highly awaited Season 3 update. Apart from bringing tons of content for the Multiplayer, it has unveiled numerous surprises for the fans of Warzone 2 as well.

However, it looks like the battle royale is expected to receive even more surprises going forward. A new leak has reportedly revealed some interesting plans of devs for Warzone 2’s roadmap in the future. In case anyone missed it, the game had witnessed the debut of Resurgence with Ashika Island and then a smaller version of Al Mazrah too. But that’s not it!

Brand new Resurgence map for Call of Duty Warzone 2 is reportedly in development

After digging the game files for Season 3, some of the dataminers have managed to extract useful information regarding Warzone 2. As reported by the reputed scooper Task Force Leakers 141 on Twitter, devs have already started working on another Resurgence map for the battle royale. What’s interesting to note is that it will be the 5th overall map and its location has also been reportedly revealed!

Per the leaked intel, the next Resurgence map for Call of Duty Warzone 2 will be called Vondel. This entirely new location is set in The Netherlands. In case someone missed keeping track of events, this European nation served as a crucial part in Modern Warfare II’s Campaign last year. One of the game’s missions was set in Amsterdam.

The leak also mentions that this map was originally codenamed Delta. It will be interesting to see how big this place will be. Given the fact that it’s the location for Resurgence mode, one can assume it to be not very huge. It may end up being similar in size to Ashika Island.

As of now, this is just a leak, so everyone will need to take it with a grain of salt. Activision’s Call of Duty Warzone 2 is now available with its Season 3 content.
