Call of Duty Warzone 2 – Ashika Island Isn’t Going to Be the Only Resurgence Map in the Battle Royale

Call of Duty players are currently having a good time with Warzone 2, the newest battle royale entry from Activision. Since its launch in November 2022, the game has gone through its ebb and flow. Although there have been several issues, it has managed to impress the players, especially after the arrival of Season 2.

The current season has unleashed endless content for lovers of battle royale. Now they also have a second mode in Resurgence, featuring a completely new map of Ashika Island. It was revealed last month when Season 2 made its way. So far, it has received amazing reactions from users.

In one of his recent videos, he discussed about the future of Warzone 2 going forward regarding the major updates and what can be expected for its roadmap. And it seems like there’s a lot to watch out for.

He mentioned the infamous Activision data breach that ended up leaking a lot of stuff. While talking about it, he also touched upon how Call of Duty Warzone 2 might receive another brand new small map after Ashika Island’s release last month.

To be precise, the battle royale is rumored to get another Resurgence map sooner than later. According to what WhosImmortal has revealed, it is expected to arrive in May or June. This will be the first time the Resurgence mode in Warzone will get a quick map refresh. This wasn’t the case with the first battle royale installment as it used to take a long time to introduce a new map.

However, it appears as if the devs are quite busy offering new content for Warzone 2 on a constant basis. All things considered, though, it’s great news for the fans. Especially those, who are very active in Resurgence and may get bored with it in the long run. But that’s not going to be the case now. It will be interesting to see what new map will be unveiled in the coming months.
