In case anyone missed keeping track of events, Warzone 2 was supposed to get the Ranked Play mode, similar to Modern Warfare II. However, it eventually got delayed for a long time. Call of Duty Warzone 2 Ranked Play (Beta) fails to impress a large section of players
Renowned streamer and reputed content creator ModernWarzone recently ran a poll on Twitter. While conducting it, he asked his followers to tell him whether the ultimate arrival of Ranked Play has been amazing or not. While he did mention in a separate Tweet that the mode was pretty good, the vast number of votes from the fans presented a different story altogether.
The poll was quite huge as a total of 23,443 people volunteered to express their opinions on Ranked Play in Call of Duty Warzone 2. It seems like it has somehow failed to sway most of them. Out of the total votes, about 53.1 percent of the individuals believe that its addition has done nothing substantial. In other words, only 46.9 percent of users think that it’s good so far.

All things considered, this kind of early verdict from the fans is surely not a positive sign for Warzone 2, especially for its newly added mode, which was highly anticipated for the last few months. It will be interesting to see whether it will succeed in gaining the trust of more players or not in the coming days.

The devs will have to work hard on improving the current Ranked Play experience if they want to keep the players engaged. Otherwise, the overall franchise will have to suffer going forward.
