Call of Duty fans have been playing the latest titles from Activision in Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 for months now. While Season 1 wasn?t as appealing, its successor has rectified a lot of errors that the first season made. The recently released Season 2 update has turned out to be quite interesting. It has added tons of extra content in various modes, especially when it comes to the battle royale experience.

However, just days after the reveal of a brand new mode in Resurgence for Ashika Island, it looks like the devs have once again annoyed most of the players. And there?s a major reason behind their frustration. There are several changes made to Resurgence that have ended up making the users extremely disappointed.

Warzone 2 players are furious over Call of Duty devs for limiting gameplay experience in Resurgence

In case anyone missed keeping track of events, Warzone 2 received massive content a few weeks ago with the arrival of Season 2. It ended up bringing a fan-favorite experience from the original Warzone ? Resurgence. The map of Ashika Island is where this mode takes place. And to cater to the style of different gamers, the latest season has revealed various options for them to play either in teams or individually. Initially, while revealing Season 2, devs had promised to offer all squad sizes for the players. Thus, they could play solo or in a team of two, three, or four individuals.

But now it looks like the promise has been broken after the new season’s release. Call of Duty Warzone 2 players recently noticed that the option of Solos or Quads had been removed from Resurgence in Ashika Island.

The famous content creator and gamer, Modern Warzone, took notice of this situation while expressing frustration towards the game developers. While dropping a tweet criticizing the makers, he wrote that players are currently being “dripfed resurgence playlists”. Have a look at the tweet below:

Modern Warzone is a renowned streamer and Call of Duty player. So this kind of reaction coming from him will hopefully make the devs realize their mistakes. It will be interesting to see how they will make the Resurgence experience enjoyable again for all the players.
