The outbreak of zombies on Call of Duty Warzone, it simply cannot be denied. The title has dropped several hints about it in Season 1 and the subsequent season quite literally brought them on a ship. Warzone’s Battle Royale map of Verdansk is not in a state of panic, and it indeed harbored undead beings. These creatures were initially locked on the boat, but then they moved into the map.

Everything took place because of the Vodianoy ship crashing on the shore of Verdansk. The Battle Royale island is now at risk, and this YouTuber Inkslasher believes zombies are not only a looming threat on the map.

YouTuber shares his theory about speculated Nuke event

The outbreak of zombies will soon eclipse the entire map. Right now the horde is set to travel from one location to another, and the YouTuber even received a package from developers. It contained a white piggy that roughly points at Arcopolis National Bank. This location is in the downtown area, which will certainly serve as the next major location where zombies will go.

The island even hosts many elaborate bunkers that now point at a nuke event. It is quite possible that zombies will soon break out of their routine and break free on the map. The YouTuber even touched upon a popular Reddit thread that hinted at the nuke, but his experience differed greatly. One thing remained constant, that the map indeed exploded when exposed to C4.

The developers have already neatly tied the story of the original Modern Warfare with the Black Ops universe. The villain of the first modern warfare game, Imran Zakhaev is said to have built these bunkers. For some critical reasons, he never launched these nukes. He also hid the codes from his ally Perseus, who wanted to use them.

This paved the way for Captain Price to get his hands on the launch codes. Which could serve as a critical issue for the map, when zombies attain complete freedom. Captain Price might need to use these warheads against the horde to prevent the world from a horrifying zombie apocalypse.

If this theory checks out, then Season 2 will certainly mark the end of Verdansky because of the undead army.
