The January 7th Update for Call Of Duty: Warzone is now live, and it introduces some interesting gameplay changes, bug fixes, weapon changes, and attachment adjustments. The size of the update is relatively small and does not introduce any content addition as such.

In terms of gameplay changes, the cash threshold to enable overtime in the Plunder mode has been increased to $2 million from $1 million.

Furthermore, in terms of bug fixes, Raven has fixed the existing collision issues with various elements across Caldera.

For weapon changes, Raven has issued a statement to discuss their upcoming plans for Weapon balance for Caldera. The statement says that the devs will now take an incremental approach to Weapon nerfs. On that note, they also laid their future plans for making some adjustments to the Light Machine Gun Charlie and Submachine Gun Charlie from Vanguard.

Their rationale behind this change was to close the gap between the two mentioned weapons and their competitors. Raven is also planning to tone down ‘Visual Recoil’ on Vanguard Assault Rifles.

In terms of changes to attachments, the adjustments have been primarily for the Double Barrel from Vanguard. The movement speed when attached to Sawed-Off will now have a decreased movement speed from 1.04 to 1.03.

In terms of perks, the Akimbo Double Barrel now has a decreased damage multiplier from 1 to 0.55, an increased damage range multiplier increased from 0.6 to 1, movement speed decreased to 0.985 from 1, and hip spread increased from 1.28 to 1.32.
