Outbreak was first introduced in 2020’s Black Ops Cold War as a different mode than those having round-based gameplay. One can call it a slightly open-world experience offering a casual format and fun-filled ride. Since its reveal nearly three years ago, it has ended up gaining immense love from fans who really liked playing it.
Now, it looks like Outbreak is set to return to the Call of Duty franchise once again. At least, that’s what appears to be the case from a recent job listing by Treyarch Studios.
