Ludwig is one of the most prominent streaming personalities today. Known for his streaming records on Twitch and YouTube alike, he is a valued figure in the community. This means fans care about his opinion on controversies. When the Doja Cat-J. Cyrus controversy broke out, many fans shared their opinions. Now Ludwig has publicized his opinions on the situation.

The entire Doja Cat controversy broke out a few days ago when Doja Cat made a controversial statement about her fans not knowing her on a personal level. It escalated to a whole new level once it was spilled into the Jeffrey Cyrus issue. Rumored to be Cat’s boyfriend, fans had issues with Cat dating him. Speaking purely from his views on the matter, he feels the need to ask fans to back off.

The controversy involves allegations of improper conduct between Cyrus and his Twitch moderators. While Cyrus addressed those issues, Doja Cat fans asked her to end things with Cyrus, prompting a strong reply from her. She believes her fans cannot make decisions about her personal life for her.

This is where Ludwig comes into the picture. After the news of Doja Cat’s statements went up, Ludwig offered his opinion on the matter. His idea is to ask if celebrities should entertain mass harassment from their fans in their personal lives. To Ludwig, it seems to be a form of punishment that comes with popularity. Consequently, he drew parallels with Taylor Swift fans asking her to end a relationship in the past, because of something they found wrong.

Ludwig simply asked Doja Cat fans to cool down and focus elsewhere. In the video, he says, “In conclusion, there are definitely some Doja Cat fans that I would argue are maybe a little too online. People who are referring to themselves as head kittens who have defended Dojo Cat since the chat rooms. You don’t need to do that right that, it’s okay you. Work on your resume.  Call your mother. Hang out with a friend you know.”
