

Starfield’s launch is just around the corner. It has been introduced to fans as Bethesda’s largest game yet. From over 1,000 planets to various planetary settlements to customizable ships, it will offer players a lot. And despite much being revealed, it’s safe to say that we only know a fraction of what is to come. And there’s a lot that is left to our imagination.

Once we hear words like vast and unlimited possibilities, the imagination runs wild. Such is the case with one hilarious question. However, it would make for a really cool easter egg or a shout-out.

The scope that Starfield offers its fans might just be the first of its kind. While some are busy comparing this game to the likes of Mass Effect and No Man’s Sky, others cannot help but wonder about exactly just how expansive could this world be.

Recently, during Gamescom 2023, Bethesda gave fans a new live-action trailer for Starfield. With “Rocketman” playing in the background, the trailer really hit the spot. And some fans have eagle eyes. They tend to spot every little detail. And in this case, some of them found something that was not only intriguing but also familiar.

At one point, the character shown in the trailer is exploring an uncharted planet. He enters a cave where he is surrounded by ores of some sort of valuable material. Those ores are shiny and have made fans wonder, “Are those infinity stones?”
The very straightforward answer to that question is no; those are just some ores, as we mentioned above. But this does not mean fans should just lose hope of finding anything similar in Starfield.

It’s a large game; who knows, if players explore enough, they might end up finding something unusually powerful. On the other hand, Bethesda is pretty well known for introducing some very curious Easter eggs in their games. Titanic reference in Fallout 4 and the Headless Horseman from Skyrim are two of the numerous Easter eggs they have featured in their games over the years. Hence, it would not at all be a surprise if players end up seeing such a reference to those Avengers movies in Starfield too. After all, Cosmos is full of unusual surprises.
