Within the opening 5 days, God of War: Ragnarok sold over 11 million copies worldwide, with over 5.1 million being bought in the United States only, and tops the list of the fastest-selling PS5 exclusive games.

GoW: Ragnarok is closely followed by The Last of Us 2, which gave players a thrilling memory. TLoU2 saw massive global success and sold over 10 million copies within 5 days of release. Even though Final Fantasy Vii Remake, Spider-Man and the God of War did poorly in the domestic market compared to the first two on the list, they saw massive success in the global market and sold 14 million, 20 million, and 23 million copies respectively, within 5 days of their individual releases.
