Imane “Pokimane” Anys and Felix “xQc” Lengyel are among the elite Twitch streamers out there. The duo has a friendly relationship and often collaborates with each other. But that doesn’t mean they both agree with each other’s ideologies. Instead, they are mostly against each other’s opinions.

Pokimane recently shared her thoughts on “Revenge P*rn”. The Twitch Queen stated a strict prosecution should be introduced to deal with the distribution and possession of such explicit media. But this statement by Pokimane caught the attention of fellow Canadian streamer, xQc, who didn’t agree with her ideology.

xQc doesn’t agree with Pokimane on “Revenge P*rn”

As always, xQc was reacting to Reddit when he came across a clip of Pokimane. In the clip, Poki claims one should delete any improper pictures or videos of their former partner. She also thinks it’s illegal to have such media on devices like smartphones or PC. As she claims it’s against the consent of the person whose images or videos are maintained.

However, xQc liked to differ from Pokimane on this point. He thinks a person would give such media files consensually or the partner made them with the other’s permit. He then stated that the possessor has a right over them even after the breakup, as they are also the “artist” who made those explicit media.

The 26-year-old mockingly explained, “The person breaks up and they’re like you know what bye, and I like to say this in your phone,’ I do not consent to you having the wiggly in your possession and delete now or FBI will break down your door. Well, no!!”

Lengyel understood why Poki said what she said

xQc did agree with Poki on one aspect. Poki said that such media files spread easily in high schools, to which, xQc said “that’s illegal.” The female streamer’s point was that it is a problem among underaged people. Lengyel however, stuck with his initial statement, but also advocated against releasing such private media on the internet.

He continued, “I took it I’m the artist. Why would I delete it? I like it. It’s art you dumb*ss.” But he once again focused on the point of not sharing those intimate moments on the internet. xQc claimed, “I never said it to release. Guys, I have never said to release.”
