After years of waiting, Capcom has announced Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase. The highly awaited sequel had been under the wraps since it had its last official progress update at the Tokyo Games Show 2023. Ever since then, the game has only been subjected to rumors and speculations. However, fans can rejoice now as the countdown to the big showdown begins!

A few days back, Dragon’s Dogma 2 had invited some strong community attention after a rating of the sequel went viral. The ratings aligned with the fan theories of a launch announcement around The Game Awards 2023. The theories have panned out as the date of the title’s final showcase is just around the corner, even sooner than some fans had projected.

Capcom’s RPG Dragon’s Dogma remains among the most enjoyed open worlds of adventure. But the wait for the sequel of the classic had been frustrating for a lot of fans. Now, the developers have given the world a date that would be subject to a 15-minute-long detailed gameplay reveal of the project.

According to the official teaser dropped by Capcom, Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase will happen on November 28, Tuesday 1 PM PST/ 9 PM GMT. The hosts will be none other than Hideaki Itsuno and Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, the director and producer of the Capcom project. The description of the teaser drop mentions the upcoming showcase will account for a lot of “info-packed gameplay reveals.”

The delight of the original Dragon’s Dogma was due to the freedom it afforded in battle, including incredibly responsive, enormous foes that you could take down and scale in a manner reminiscent of Shadow of the Colossus. Capcom has previously disclosed information about the sequel, like the new Vocations, or classes in more conventional RPG terminology, including the advanced and hybrid possibilities. The latest teaser that has dropped, however, being a very short glimpse, promises to be an interesting leap from the previous sneak peek.
