CD Projekt Boss Has High Hopes From Cyberpunk 2077 Despite Widespread Criticism

After multiple prolonged delays, CD Projekt’s latest title set and developed for the future, Cyberpunk 2077, made its way to the market in early December 2020. Although, as plenty of individuals are aware, the title felt incomplete at launch. Missing key elements, various performance issues, and bugs are just some of the numerous problems.
But over the course of its time, the devs have rectified quite a lot of the issues. And the game will launch on the next-gen consoles in Q1 of 2022. Now, CD Projekt’s President, Adam Kiciński, has come out to claim “Cyberpunk 2077 will be perceived as a very good game” in the coming years.

While the next-generation version is expected to have a much better launch than the initial variant, the President has also revealed that the release will be accompanied by a new patch, Version 1.5.

As technologies advance and the devs continue to enhance the quality of the Cyberpunk experience, hopefully, 2022 will bring relief to players across the world. And Kiciński certainly believes so. Talking about what lies in the future for 2077, he stated, “it will sell for years – especially as the equipment will be more efficient and the game will be improved by us all the time“, as per Rzeczpospolita.
2022 is going to be a defining point in the story of Cyberpunk 2077. Given that the next major update will drop close to the new version’s launch, which will also open the door for exciting new content.
