But what everyone wants to know is the story behind the creation of MrBeast. And his supposedly first subscriber, Chris Tyson, has revealed information about the true MrBeast.

He shared this information on the Banter Boys podcast, consisting of Sapnap, GeorgeNotFound, and Karl Jacobs. The group talked about a variety of topics, ranging from Tyson’s HRT journey to early MrBeast days.

Answering the question asked by Jacobs, Tyson shared about his start on the MrBeast channel. He shared that Donaldson was two years younger than him in school and was actually friends with MrBeast’s brother, CJ. But they later became very close friends and the reason behind that was due to the interests the duo shared.

Talking about his school days, Tyson shared that many people were not interested in YouTube back then. During lunch hour, he and MrBeast were in a small group of six people who mainly discussed about YouTube.

But despite no support from many people around, Donaldson was still creating and uploading content way before making the channel. “He was just posting videos like Facebook games,” told Tyson.

Donaldson started as a gaming content creator

Chris Tyson revealed MrBeast was a gamer earlier on Facebook and this fact brought in some jokes from the hosts. They joked Donaldson was playing games like Candy Crush and Farmville for content. Tyson cleared the doubts, stating Donaldson enjoyed playing a specific type of boat-based game. He could not remember the name, but the premise of the game was to keep leveling up your boats.

Chris Tyson went on to say the earlier videos of him revolved around this boat game. “I think that was when he was really having the most fun. That was the true MrBeast,” said Tyson. He also revealed they both played Call of Duty every Sunday.
