Valorant is starting the New Year with a bang. It was already announced by Riot that they are bringing some big changes to their FPS shooter in 2023. And now, they have finally released what to expect in the upcoming update.

Valorant Episode 5 is nearing its end. Along with it, the current Cryostasis bundle and the Battle Pass will also come to an end. As usual, Riot has released a trailer to hype up the beginning of their new season, which includes the upcoming changes in the game.

Valorant Episode 6: A New Map
Episode 6 of Valorant will come on January 10. The biggest update in this new patch would be the introduction of Lotus. Riot is continuing the Harbor plotline, which is set in India. Codenamed ‘Lotus’, Riot is bringing a brand new and unique map to the game.

This will be the second three-sited map in the game after Haven. Moreover, new systems like the Lotus Door are an interesting addition to the game. Lotus will be available in Episode 6 along with the return of Split. Bind and Breeze will be removed from the map pool and will be replaced by these two maps.

The trailer of the new map was received with much excitement from the Valorant community. This new map sure has ignited a spark in many of the players. The return of Split adds fuel to this excitement.

The new bundle: Araxys coming soon
Along with the new map is a brand-new bundle. Codenamed ‘Araxys’, the bundle brings a whole new set of unique weapon skin lines into the game. The bundle has a pitch of an alien futuristic theme. The weapon bundle will have Operator, Vandal, Shorty, Bulldog, and a melee skin.

Moreover, all these skins will have multiple variants. The bundle will cost 8700 VP with each weapon skin being 2,175 VP. The melee will be priced at 4,350 VP. Unique gun buddies and a spray will be available in the bundle as well.
A new Battle Pass will also be featured with the new Episode. There are a ton of weapon skins and player cards in the Battle Pass. This will cost you 1000 VP. If you are low on RR, don’t forget to complete at least the free chapters in the Pass.

Apart from all these, Omen is getting a nerf in the upcoming patch. Players now cannot do one-way smokes. All these updates will hit the game on January 10, 2023.
