Cloud 9 is one of the organizations that have had a great impact on the Valorant competitive servers. Moreover, they have wholeheartedly welcomed Yay and Jordan Zellsis Montemurro. Whereas Vanity, Leaf, and Xeppa remain in the playing-five roster.

Unfortunately, Yay and Zellsis’ former respective teams couldn’t qualify for the upcoming 2023 VCT international leagues. Nevertheless, the players were given the freedom to look out for prospects.

And things seem to have worked out for them. Although no speculation can be formed. But one cannot deny the thought that the organization might be putting on their trust in the players to take the team on a flourishing run.

Here are the reactions of the fans to the unpredictable announcement:

Can the new additions to the team bring out fruitful results?

If one goes back a year, they can surely remember that Tenz had transferred from C9 to Sentinels. Undoubtedly, the player had been a part of a brilliant run of Sentinels. As the team had a dominant fixture run of winning the Valorant Champions Tour 2021 Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavík without dropping a single map.

Especially after Tenz’s exit a year ago, the team was definitely looking ahead to a prosperous outcome of their conjoined efforts. And their recent decision stands as no exception to it. Under this light, the feats of the new faces of C9’s Valorant haven’t gone unnoticed.

Yay’s impeccable duelist firepower on the server had led Optic Gaming to win VCT Masters Reykjavik champions in 2022. However, the team just missed the chance of winning the championship title. But Yay’s prowess and near-perfect ADSing made him a fan favorite.

On the other hand, Zellsis has been ruling the servers with his aggressive and capitalizing initiator plays. The player had recently played for Sentinels in LCQs for the 2022 VCT Champions. Though the team didn’t qualify, the gameplay and charismatic energy of the player stoked the fans. Ultimately, the question stands, will the fresh additions square up the journey of the Cloud 9 roster with an ultimate win?
