Control and Alan Wake Developer Has an Update on Its Upcoming Shooter title

Crossfire X fans may get some updates about its release in a few days. On 16th Nov 2021, Remedy Entertainment announced some news regarding Crossfire X and Project Condor. Remedy Entertainment is the studio behind popular titles like Control and Alan Wake. For the past few months, the company was busy with its expansion plans in Sweden. But it looks like the company is back on track and will release its most awaited projects soon.

Tero Virtala, who’s the CEO of the company, shared that the devs are working on Crossfire X and Crossfire story mode.

And the focus is to enhance the detailing and technical aspects of the game. The devs are focusing especially on the Crossfire story mode, which will deliver an immersive gaming experience to the fans. The CEO also added that both the games are almost ready to be launched and need a bit more work. He also stated that both the games are very close to each other’s release dates. But as of now, the devs have released no news regarding the release dates.

The CEO also added that the exact release dates will be decided mutually by Remedy Entertainment and Smilegate, who is the official publisher of the game. Tero Virtala also threw some light on its other project, “Project Condor.” He shared this project is in progress and everything is going as planned. It looks like the devs will release both these games soon, especially “Crossfire X.” According to rumors, this game is likely to be multiplayer and will include live services. But the devs have not confirmed it yet.

Crossfire X: the delay

Originally, Crossfire X was going to release in 2021 itself but due to the Covid-19, the devs had to push back its release date. Because it got very difficult for the devs to work from home on the projects.

In fact, there were a lot of games that got delayed due to the global lockdown imposed cause of Covid-19. But as of now, things look very positive and the entire team of devs is back on track to work on these games.
