The rumors surrounding Fortnite are never-ending. And recently, a wild rumor has been making the rounds in the community about how Fortnite fans could witness their favorite island’s end soon.

Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 has already introduced some abnormal changes to the game, from cubes multiplying to sharks disappearing. Even though the season has more to offer, with new features on their way, it seems as though something big is going to present itself soon.

Reports that accurately predicted all of Epic Games’ plans for Season 8 now indicate Chapter 3 is just around the corner.

Fortnite: Season 8’s end to make way for Chapter 3?

The season finale is already on its way and arrives with the return of Mechs! There have also been hints from various NPCs on the map that Season 8 might be the last in Chapter 2.

This might be the craziest season in Fortnite history coming to an end. But will this end pave the path for Chapter 3’s arrival? Will this be the final season in Fortnite Chapter 2’s story? Well, yes. If reports from various sources are to be true, Season 8 is going to be the final one in this chapter.

Chapter 3 breakdown

Early reports that predicted Season 8 events have now resurfaced. And since almost every prediction in the post turned out to be accurate, there’s no reason to believe they’d be wrong about Chapter 3.

The post on the subreddit dedicated to Fortnite leaks, r/FortniteLeaks, by a mod shares every detail leaked to them before season 8 started. And amongst those were some startling claims about the next chapter. They claimed that the cubes of season 8  will be controlled by an “unknown Queen character.” And it might not be a coincidence the island already has a Queen cube.

The post also reveals that Chapter 3 will restructure the map entirely and will disclose the location of The Seven. In fact, a much-needed redesign of the map would be a breath of fresh air for a lot of islanders.

As of now, Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 8 ends on December 5, 2021. So the fans can expect chapter 3 to kick off around the same time. If all goes well and reports are correct, chapter 3 could be out in time for Christmas and New Year.
