The PlayStation showcase is almost here, and it may bring some exciting new updates for gamers. The event will go live on 9 September 2021 (Thursday) at 4 pm ET and will be available for viewing on YouTube and Twitch (on the PlayStation channel). Tons of games that are releasing soon could make an appearance during this event. If rumors are to be believed, the first-ever trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6 can make an appearance.

If this is true, then this will be the biggest surprise for all GTA fans.

The GTA 5: Enhanced Edition led last year’s PlayStation showcase. This gave fans some hope to once again get a GTA update on PlayStation showcase 2021.

Unfortunately, nothing is confirmed at this point. Neither Sony nor Rockstar Games have said anything about the announcement or launch yet. Right now, it is just wishful thinking. Maybe it is just a rumor or maybe gamers will indeed get their biggest surprise today at the PlayStation showcase, anything can happen.

The event is just a few hours away and so are the announcements. Sony may have a lot of big updates stored for the fans. However, it is officially confirmed that the showcase will not offer any kind of further information about the next-gen PSVR.
