Famous rapper and former Twitch streamer Soulja Boy has blazed guns over the platform after their recent ‘ban spree,’ and fans seem to be in favor.

Since 2021, Soulja Boy has shared a love/hate relationship with Twitch, as the platform banned him multiple times. First, he received a five-minute ban that turned into an indefinite one, leading him to call quits from the Amazon-owned company. Then, Soulja transitioned to YouTube, continuing to create content alongside his music career. But that did not mean he called quits entirely, as news surfaced of the rapper suing the platform. Nevertheless, he apologized and moved on with his life.

However, it now looks like he’s again part of a Twitch controversy as he uploaded a tweet talking about them. Apparently, the “Kiss me through the phone” rapper wasn’t pleased with the platform banning streamers like Adin Ross and Kai Cenat, so he had to spare a few words over it.

After the major ban on three top streamers, Soulja did not seem to like it. So, he uploaded a dedicated post on Twitter, sharing his feelings about the platform. He said, “Who works at twitch? We need someone who can communicate with streamers. Me, Kai, speed, and Bruce are all banned. It’s crazy. And me and speeds is permanent. SMH people make mistakes.”

In the past week, streamers like Adin Ross, Kai Cenat, and BruceDropEmOff received major bans. First, Twitch banned Kai for eating edibles and passing out on the stream as it was against their laws. After all, they were not in favor of promoting ‘drugs,’ leading Cenat to shut down his stream.

Followed by that, BruceDropEmOff received an indefinite ban for ‘evading suspension’ on the platform. Apparently, the streamer was already going through a lot as he announced his exit from OTK, and Twitch banned his second channel. So, to talk to his viewers, Bruce went live on his main channel, only to find out about the indefinite ban.

Lastly, Adin Ross saw another black screen, as Twitch banned him for unknown reasons. Surprisingly, he seemed to care little as he already went through multiple ‘swat attacks’ and bans last year. Thanks to some eccentric viewers, they called upon him, leading to such sad moments despite being ‘live.’

So, looking at this, it felt like Soulja wasn’t pleased, as he felt Twitch could tone down their laws a bit. After all, nobody likes to play favorites, and these streamers have contributed enough viewership to the platform.
