Dallas Empire player Crimsix is one of the most acknowledged players in the Call of Duty league. The veteran recently tweeted about the mistreatment of players by the Call of Duty organizations after he came across a clip of a Canadian Esports podcast, which follows the Canadian professional Overwatch team Toronto Defiant.

In their latest podcast, the hosts talk about CDL veteran Loony as they feel that the veteran isn’t really a good pick for Seattle Surge this season.

Seattle Surge just announced their roster for Call of Duty league this season, which includes experienced players like:

  • Sam “Octane” Larew
  • Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson
  • Peirce “Gunless” Hillman
  • Daniel “Loony” Loza

Loony did not have his best season in 2020 in Toronto Ultra, and the Canadian Esports podcast hosts are skeptical of any improvement by the veteran. They said that Loony is almost 28 now, meaning he’s not as good as he was some years back. Crimsix disagrees with this. In fact, he is “pissed off” by such comments on Loony.

Crimsix mentioned that Loony is a very supportive person who makes everyone around him better. “ An often ignored attribute in COD because it cannot be quantified,” he added. This further aggravated him to talk about the behavior of Toronto Ultra as an organization.

Is Toronto Ultra an anti-player organization?

Crimsix attacked Toronto Ultra for its inadequate treatment to former players like Carson ‘Brack’ Newberry. Brack left to go home for his grandpa’s open-heart surgery. He was a substitute on the roster, and there was no chance that he would have been subbed in. He didn’t start in a single match in the season, and Toronto Ultra was still very stubborn to let him go.

Toronto didn’t pay Brack while he was away, accusing Brack of making up excuses to leave. However, Brack’s grandfather just passed away, making the situation worse for the organization. It is not allowed for organizations to force their players to live in a place and not pay them if they want to leave.

Lastly, Crimsix mentioned that Toronto Ultra reportedly wants a 50-50 split on the cash prize for this season. On the other side, the organization is underpaying its players. The CDL veteran is clearly unhappy with such anti-player management by the organization. Fans around the world have come in support of Brack.
