Scorn is one of the most gruesome Xbox exclusives famous for its bone-chilling aesthetic visuals. The title was released in October 2022 and received plenty of mixed reviews. The aesthetic crude visuals worked for some of the fans while a lot of fans couldn’t connect with the creepy tone. The Xbox special might now be embarking on a new venture by moving to Microsoft’s rival PlayStation 5.

Scorn was originally announced in 2014, and it was revealed in 2020 to be a timed Xbox Series X/S console exclusive. Ebb Softwares experimented with a slow mysterious lore filled with puzzles. The title supposedly had a lot of issues with its shooting gameplay. Besides that hardcore horror fans found the game decently entertaining with the creepy visuals and story. The makers have now dropped a hint on Scorn’s possible port from Xbox to PlayStation 5.

Fans Decode The Cryptic Tweets, Xbox To Bid Farewell to Scorn

In a series of cryptic tweets, the makers of Scorn hinted about moving on from Xbox. Carrying the style statement of the title forward, the makers decided to post puzzle some teets for the fans to break down rather than directly making the announcement. The thread started off with the puzzle, “In shadows cast and darkness deep, A shape emerges from secrets to keep. Three edges meet, they intertwine, Within their grasp, sorrow does entwine.”

The thread had three tweets, each possibly hinting at the sign. This takes back the fans of the game to the prominent symbolism used in the gameplay. The fans were quick to start breaking down the puzzles. The first tweet according to the community hinted at the shape of a ‘triangle’ as it talked about ‘three edges meeting’. The second tweet had a visible Morse code in a clip that translates to ‘zero.’ The third clue stated, “I am a variable, mysterious, and unknown, I leave my mark, a treasure shown. The 24th of my kind, my power multiplies, a target, a letter of only two lines.” The fans decoded this clue to the letter ‘X’.
