Shroud Has Chosen Baldur’s Gate 3 as the “Game of the F**king Decade”

In a recent stream, popular streamer and former CS: GO and Valorant pro Michael Grzesiek aka Shroud compared two of the best gaming titles of this year: Starfield and Baldur’s Gate 3. In this comparison, Shroud had a clear winner in the Larian Studio title, BG3.

Shroud mainly drew the line of comparison on the basis of the freedom to approach things and situations in their own way. He mainly stated that computer role-playing games should allow you to progress through the game however you want to progress. There shouldn’t be any fixed method or way of doing that.

In Starfield, Shroud found out that there were hardly any times that he got the opportunity to finish the game according to his desire. But in BG3, he found out that this game is made to do so. There are a number of possibilities for how you can progress through the game. That’s how a speedrunner completed the whole game in just 10 minutes, according to his own way, but encountered a dark and unusual conclusion to the game.

The former CS: GO pro encountered just two occasions in his 80 hours of gameplay where the game did not allow him to run the game as he desired. He stated: “Every other time, I was like, ‘Oh, I really want to do it this way.’ Well, guess what? You can!”
