Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath – Vengeance of the Slayer

Slayers X: Terminal Aftermath – Vengeance of the Slayer releases on June 1. The game is a first-person shooter that runs similar to old 90s shooters, such as Wolfenstein. The game is reminiscent of the first Doom game, as players run around shooting enemies to fast background scores. It was developed as a spin-off from the 2019 title Hypnospace Outlaw. Slayers X features shooting and plenty of comic relief.

Amnesia: The Bunker

The Amnesia series has often been regarded to be among some of the scariest games to be created. Developed by Frictional Games, players take control of French soldier Henri Clement during the First World War. Stuck inside a bunker after a battle in the trenches, Henri must escape an entity hunting him known as the Beast. As he makes his way, he uncovers the mystery behind the experiments being run in the bunker.

Amnesia: The Bunker is a return to the classic survival horror genre. Players make their way through the dark, as they chip at the mystery to uncover the story while staying one step ahead of the horrors chasing them. The series etched its name in the history books with the first title Amnesia: Dark Descent. Amnesia: Rebirth, the sequel, was built on the success of its predecessor. The Bunker will be the third game in the series. It releases on June 6. Only time will tell which direction this means for the franchise.

Dordogne

Dordogne is unlike the other two games. Instead of a shooter or the horror genre, Dordogne is a watercolor game focused on story choices and evoking warm memories. The player takes control of Mimi. She returns to her countryside childhood cottage in Dordogne after her grandmother’s passing.
