Reedus reveals to journalists in a roundtable for Walking Dead Season 11, saying, “I think we’re doing a second Death Stranding.” On the other hand, Kojima and PlayStation are already negotiating a possible sequel: Death Stranding 2.

The Director’s cut for Death Stranding is also set to release in September, and it seems like he might be referring to the enhanced and expanded version of the game. However, the possibility for a sequel remains on the table, given Kojima has entered negotiations with Playstation.

Interestingly, Hideo Kojima commented on the aforementioned issue through a tweet, and it seems like he clearly dislikes the name “director’s cut.” Therefore, claims for a sequel seem to get even stronger.
