However, this time it might backfire.

In a recent post, Jimmy has stated that he “messed up.” And this may have turned the tables for this American YouTuber. He might go broke. And it is all because of a grocery store. It seems buying that grocery store wasn’t a great idea. And the next thing he did after buying it didn’t help matters, either.

MrBeast’s unique challenge to a random person

MrBeast is no stranger to spending big. In fact, he does it often. But this new challenge-cum-promise might be overreaching even for the king of YouTube. And he took to X (formerly Twitter) to share an update regarding the same.

In a recent post, he stated that he had recently bought a grocery store. And he offered a stranger $10,000 for each day he lived in the store. In a twist of events, turns out the person isn’t leaving.

That is not even the whole story. According to the American YouTuber, the man went on to live for weeks in that store. And things went on further. In a comment on that tweet, he stated that it’s already been over a month.

That means he has already spent a whopping $300,000 on this challenge.

Even after spending more than a month, the man is showing no sign of leaving. Things are getting worse as each day passes. That’s why Beast has stated, “I’m going to go broke.”

It’s highly unlikely that MrBeast is going to be broke

He might have lost $300k, but how much is that worth for the YouTuber? According to the recently revealed Forbes 2023 list, MrBeast is the richest influencer in the world. Based on their reports, MrBeast earns close to $82 million a year. Funny enough, he accidentally revealed in a deleted tweet that $82 million a year “seems low” for him.

He also disclosed that he is going to spend a whopping $120 million this year, only on his videos. MrBeast has already spent $3.5 million on his single video of his Squid Game adapted gameshow. But that record was broken when he spent more than $4 million on his Extreme Olympics video.

Knowing how much he earns and how much he spends, there’s a good chance he won’t actually go broke. However, as the story develops, we’ll know the extent of the damage done.
