Hogwarts Legacy seems to be an interesting game at the moment that has been in the news since the last few months. While majority of the fans were excited for its debut this year, they were left disappointed after the news of a delay.

But the makers of Hogwarts Legacy might be having a different approach when it comes to promoting the upcoming title. Instead of remaining quiet following the delay, the team of Avalanche has decided to reveal something new. This information was just confirmed by none other than The Game Awards’ host Geoff Keighley.

Hogwarts Legacy fans are on cloud nine after a new event gets revealed for August 2022

Developed by Avalanche and published by Portkey Games label under Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the game has been long in the making. It’s based in the 1800s, telling the story of a fresh student who enters Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

Hogwarts Legacy, is in no way, related to the timeline of Harry Potter. Instead, its story takes place years before the events involving The Boy Who Lived. In the magical open-world of Hogwarts Legacy, the central character will have a direct connection to an ancient secret that could be a threat to the entire wizarding world.

Most of the gaming enthusiasts and Harry Potter lovers were looking forward to the project’s release in 2022. Unfortunately, though, it’s now been delayed till February 2023. However, the developing team knows how to keep the fans hyped up in the meantime.

Famous host Geoff Keighley shared a massive tweet recently, dropping a big update for all the Hogwarts Legacy fans. He wrote that Avalanche will present a new look at the upcoming magical game later this month during the Gamescom event. Furthermore, he also mentioned the exact timings for the session, to be streamed live next Tuesday, on August 23rd.

As soon as the update spread across the social media, die-hard fans of Hogwarts Legacy wasted no time in expressing their happiness. Many of them couldn’t believe that Avalanche is actually having such an event. They were thinking that the makers will go silent after announcing a delay. All things considered, this news has infused a new life across the community.
