The internet has been stunned by the brand-new revelation. On the official website of LEGO Ideas, a Zelda-themed ‘Adventure Kit’ has surfaced. This has genuinely been an impossible dream, as, for the longest time, the fans of both LEGO and Zelda were very confident that they will never get this collaboration ever. 

In the world of gaming, Nintendo is one of the most influential companies. Dominating the industry ever since its inception, Nintendo is a gaming juggernaut, pioneering new innovations in every generation. But despite being such a trailblazer, Nintendo is very conservative in many other aspects. 

Despite License issues, Zelda theme Adventure Kit surfaces on the LEGO website

Nintendo has gained a negative reputation for its reluctance to embrace new trends, particularly because of controversies surrounding copyright enforcement and licensing issues. Despite the popularity of the Zelda franchise, LEGO has never released any sets based on it. In fact, LEGO even prohibited fan-created Zelda, set ideas.

In November 2022, it was reported that submitting Zelda-themed creations to the LEGO Ideas website was not allowed because of a “license conflict.” This led many to believe that all Zelda-related fan ideas would be discontinued. However, there is a ray of hope as a LEGO Idea ‘Adventure Kit’ themed around the Legend of Zelda is currently under review, despite the earlier restrictions.

The proposed LEGO Legend of Zelda Adventure Kit draws inspiration from the original game. It includes an Overworld with monsters, landscapes, a merchant, and a secret cave with a sword and the iconic Old Man. There are six dungeon rooms beyond the Labyrinth entrance.

This LEGO Legend of Zelda Adventure Kit showcases an Overworld that can be separated into four plates, allowing the user to arrange and customize the landscape to their liking. The stackable dungeon rooms feature strategically placed pins and technic bricks, letting the user craft their own personalized dungeon layouts. The set also includes a stunning replica of the golden Zelda NES cartridge, serving as a nostalgic centerpiece that pays homage to the timeless legacy of the game.

Considering the circumstances, it seems probable that LEGO will eventually abandon the idea. However, it’s difficult to say for certain at this point. Only time will reveal the fate of this LEGO Adventure Kit, leaving fans eagerly awaiting a final decision.
