DICE Releases Battlefield 2042 Minimum PC Requirements Before Beta

DICE and EA recently announced the dates for the open data of Battlefield 2042. Alongside that, DICE also revealed the PC requirements for the Beta. As the leaks correctly suggested, the open beta will launch on 8 October. This news was well-received among fans of the series, and the announcement trailer gained an astounding one million views.

Hardware requirements for Battlefield 2042 beta

DICE has officially released the minimum as well as the recommended hardware requirements to run the game on PC.

For PC players looking to run the game, these are the requirements they have to ensure their PCs meet.

The beta version of the game will only include one game mode and map and it will revolve around the large-scale game mode Coquet in the map Orbital, which was shown in the reveal. This map will see players battling for domination of a launch site in Kourou, French Guiana. The game will feature vehicular combat, large-scale destruction, sandbox gameplay, and dynamic weather elements.

This long-awaited title was scheduled to release on October 22. It, however, had to be pushed back to November 19. DICE stated that the reason for this delay was “unforeseen challenges” caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
