On July 21, 2017, Epic Games dropped Fortnite, a free-to-play battle royale. At first, the franchise could only garner a small audience until top streamers like Ninja and Tfue started streaming the game. Since then, the title skyrocketed to success, becoming one of the most viewed, played, and loved games on the planet.

The devs also paid tremendous attention to the details, adding vibrant colors, thousands of cosmetics, guns, and more. But what paved the way for the game’s massive success was the collaborations with brands, celebrities, personalities, and more. And while fans adored every bit of it, they were unhappy with only one thing – FPS mode.

Fortnite might get your favorite update, so be ready for it!

As we all know, Fortnite is a third-person game allowing players to view their entire character during the fight. This gives them the upper hand in many things, but mainly, how they want their character to look. This was the main reason that Fortnite could earn millions by releasing cosmetics and delivering every favorite to their fans.

But it posed a problem to all FPS fanatics as they lacked a bit in skill. However, it looks like fresh rumors confirm the addition of an FPS mode for the following season of Fortnite. Popular streamer SypherPK has backed the information and claims that it might feature in Chapter 4, Season 2.

Apart from this, Twitter had mixed feelings about the news as they voiced their opinions in the comments section. While the FPS fanatics were happy about it, the others cribbed about the money they used so far. After all, we all know the massive amounts that users have spent, and it would be an injustice to not see the characters despite owning them. Here’s what everyone had to say about it.

While Fortnite is yet to confirm the news, it is safe enough to say that there are high chances that we might get this mode soon, as SypherPK seems to believe in it. Plus, it is high time the devs acknowledge this request, as the game has been out for six years.
