Disguised Toast and LilyPichu wanted to leave OTV in the past

In a recent stream, one fan asked LilyPichu and Toast if they ever thought of leaving OTV in the past. To this LilyPichu replied with no hesitation and answered ‘Yes’. Indeed, Toast asked her if she was answering for herself or for him. Interestingly, LilyPichu confessed that every OTV member has once in a lifetime thought of leaving the group.

Although Toast was first denying Lily’s answer, he later started comparing himself to Sasuke Uchiha from Naruto. If you are not familiar with Naruto anime, then you should know that in anime, Uchiha Clan members unlock their power after experiencing sad emotions such as betrayal or anger.

Sasuke Uchiha is the rival of the main protagonist, Naruto, and one of the last surviving members of Konohagakure’s Uchiha clan. When Lily asked Toast why he wants to leave OTV, he answered, ” Yeah, because it’s filled with children and I’m a man. And I need to cut off my connection to my friends. So that I can go on my Sasuke Arc.”

In the anime, Sasuke leaves the village and his friend on the quest to avenge his older brother, Itachi Uchiha. Toast might be a big fan of Sasuke and thus, he compared leaving OTV as the first step of his Sasuke Arc. He further added, “Yeah, and I can only achieve that by breaking all bonds of friendship.” 

LilyPichu also mentions that eventually, Sasuke returns to the village in the end. To this Toast replied, “I’ll come back after I get my statue made, bro.” Naturally, Toast was joking about leaving OTV and the group might not break for a long time, at least not before the OTV Japan trip.
