Hollywood is always trying something new with their films, and so is MrBeast with his videos. As technology improves so does the style of film-making across the globe. As the VFX departments grow, so does the strength of a film to show more and more complex and large-scale ideas in cinemas. Therefore it is not surprising that MrBeast might be the first of most creators to bring the tech that Hollywood uses to YouTube.
In a reactions video from 2021, he said that he will surely use the virtual screen technology used in a Disney+ series for his videos too.

In film production, a new kind of technology has emerged in recent years called StageCraft. The makers use this technology which is based on the Unreal Engine software to create a virtual setup for a curved LED screen that is set up inside a closed room. Then the actors proceed to act in front of that screen while the camera uses a special kind of lens to capture the scene, making it look like it’s shot in a real place.
Apart from ‘The Mandalorian’, films like ‘The Midnight Sky’ (2020), ‘The Batman’ (2022), ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ (2022), and ‘Black Adam’ (2022) have reportedly used this technology to make their sets look ultra-realistic.
