However, the past year has not been easy for the WWE. The company released an ungodly amount of stars over the course of the year, including promising talents such as Keith Lee. The once title-challenging wrestler parted ways with the WWE in late 2021, while the game is presumed to be in development.

Will AEW star Keith Lee feature in the WWE 2K22 roster?
Keith Lee signed with World Wrestling Entertainment in 2018, competing in the developmental brand NXT. Lee dominated his way through NXT’s roster, winning the NXT Championship and NXT North American Championship, becoming the first person ever to do so.

Crediting his success, he was promoted to Raw in the year 2020 and faced the likes of Randy Orton and Drew McIntyre. However, in November 2021, Lee was released from his contract after returning from his five-month absence due to health issues.
Fortunately for Lee, he recently signed with All Elite Wrestling and made a blockbuster debut this week.
Now, this brings up the most pondered question in every fan’s mind. Unfortunately, Keith Lee will not feature in WWE 2K22, as per the official roster reveal on the title’s website. And such is the case with almost every released superstar, including the legendary ‘The Big Show’. What’s more upsetting is that the game was presumably in development well before Lee was released.
Visual Concepts will look to impress fans with much-needed changes and promise to feature a redesigned gameplay engine, stunning graphics, etc. However, Keith Lee and other stars will definitely be missed.

The game launches on March 11, 2022, on the PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
