Following MrBeast’s steps, David Dobrik has also opened up a restaurant. Named Doughbrik’s Pizza, the pizzeria is on Sunset Boulevard, West Hollywood. While he has not been uploading content on YouTube recently, the long-time fans of the creator are increasing the pizza’s sales rapidly.

David Dobrik was heavily involved in making Doughbrik’s Pizza. He has taken part from the inception all the way to the launch of the pizza joint. And now he has answered a question about an unusual item being sold at the pizzeria.

Blue moon ice cream is a hit in Doughbrik’s Pizza

Doughbrik’s Pizza is also serving ice cream cones along with their pizzas. And a certain flavor of ice cream available, called the blue moon ice cream, has gained quite a curiosity of fans. Even recently, employed staff has come up to Dobrik and asked, “What is blue moon ice cream?”

“It’s kind of difficult, but it’s like a sweeter, bluer vanilla,” responded Dobrik, as per Tasting Table. He continued by stating words don’t give justice to the real flavor of the ice cream. Some people compare it to Fruity Pebble according to Dobrik.

The flavor is commonly available in Midwest, but not found in California. He wanted to bring this flavor over here for the people to experience. And the fans are loving it too. It has become the most popular flavor of the pizzeria, leaving chocolate and vanilla behind.

“It’s our most popular flavor by far,” stated Dobrik. But this now popular flavor was not easy to find.

Talking about the struggles of finding the flavor in California, he said it was fairly difficult, but not impossible. The team had called up to 30 locations in California just to get their hands on the flavor. Finally, they found one location that was making this flavor for them.

A major part of struggling to find the flavor in California was due to people not having an idea. “I’ve only seen it in the Midwest, and nobody knows about it [in] California,” said Dobrik. He had a hard time explaining the flavor to the dealerships as well. Most dealerships assumed that the blue moon flavor tasted like beer in California. And Dobrik had to correct them every time, stating “No, that’s not what it is.”
