Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launched to much fanfare recently. The game expands on its prequel in every way. It features larger play areas, more movies, stances, and even companions. It was unsurprising when it received glowing recommendations from critics all over.
But a group of PC players were facing performance issues with this game. They claimed that even with very powerful pieces of hardware, they could not run this game at playable frame rates. While fans are left asking EA and Respawn Entertainment for a solution, streamer Dr Disrespect has something very different to say!

Dr Disrespect comes out in support of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor amidst reports of PC performance issues!
Jedi: Survivor continues the story of its prequel, The Fallen Order. This game had attracted a new audience as well, the kind who had never played a Soulslike. Being inspired by the Soulslike games, it offered a seriously addictive and fun core gameplay loop that players found hard to move away from.
The sequel was announced not very long after the next-gen version of Fallen Order launched. For fans, it was a cause for celebration; from that moment until it launched, the hype for this game had been unmatched. However, PC gamers have had a look at this game and found that it might be one of the most unoptimized games that have been released lately.

In fact, Digital Foundry made that statement a while ago. For some reason, the game was refusing to give players stable performance even when their PCs were equipped with GPUs like the RTX 4090. They were quick to make EA and Respawn aware of the issues they were facing and even got a response.
But, amidst all this controversy, streamer Dr Disrespect has decided to speak up and give people his piece of mind. He recently sent out a Tweet saying, “I played @EAStarWars Jedi Survivor on max settings all day yesterday. Yeah, certain cut scenes dropped frames, but overall performance and the experience on the game were top notch. People who complain about video games… GO GET A LIFE.”
This was indeed a hardhanded reply to a problem that almost everybody is facing, barring some gamers such as Dr Disrespect himself. Some fans are suggesting that he is just trolling, while others think he might be speaking the truth. People are divided on this for now, and it will remain so until they get a response from Dr Disrespect himself.
Fans cannot decide if the streamer is trolling or being serious
The response to that Tweet had been somewhat polarising; some suggested that the streamer might be just trolling, which is true to his character. While others think that maybe the game’s performance is indeed hit-and-miss and maybe it’s not affecting him at all.
