Halo: Infinite’s Multiplayer Beta release received high praises from the Two-Time himself after its launch as Dr Disrespect offered “firm handshakes” to the devs. Even though he had major concerns regarding the game’s grenade-related aspects, it looks like Doc has some interesting ideas for Halo: Infinite and its competitive tournaments.

Earlier this week, 343 Industries had a rather disappointing update for Halo fans. In an interview, the devs revealed the title’s trademark mode, Forge, will not release until after May 2022. Despite the delay, Doc has now offered his services for Halo pros and tournaments, announcing he will be learning Forge to provide ” world championship caliber map designs”.

Forge Delays and Doc’s plans

The scheduled release of Forge mode along with the co-op campaign was after the conclusion of season 1. However, the end of first season was pushed back from March to May 2022. This subsequently means the Forge and co-op will only be further delayed.

Yet another delay in Forge’s release means creative players and map design enthusiasts will have to wait longer. Fortunately, this also means players can learn the mode if they are not familiar with it from previous titles. And Dr Disrespect is one of them.

It’s no surprise that Doc loves designing first-class maps, designed for a quality experience. Furthermore, his love for FPS games and more than enough experience in various titles only adds to what the two-time can produce in terms of a map.

Dr Disrespect is truly a connoisseur of map design and FPS games. Earlier this week, Doc hopped on the bandwagon when Matt Morello, Senior Manager Product, and Content of Overwatch League, was contemplating Halo for its flawless map design. In a tweet, Doc explained he essentially designs maps with CTF mode in mind, which in turn perfects the map for other modes.
