The internet is home to a lot of unique personalities and the streaming community is a prime example of that. While fans love seeing various individuals come together to entertain them, such as with OTV; streamers butting heads can make for an entertaining watch as well. Significantly, when it comes to butting heads, nobody does it quite like Dr DisRespect. And this time he’s taken the fight to frenemy FaZe Nickmercs.

Nickmercs and Dr Disrespect share interesting chemistry and it was on full display in their recent interaction when the duo took some heavy shots at one another. But why did the hilarious battle start? Well, it’s an intriguing story.

FaZe Nickmercs and Dr DisRespect have a clash for the ages

It all started with FaZe Nio’s impressive tweet. It was a compilation video of the top gamer’s dazzling display of Call of Duty prowess. And to say it was mind-blowing would be an understatement. Shortly after he posted the video, a sea of compliments started flooding the comments section. Amongst the stunned audience was Nickmercs, who voiced the fanbase’s shared emotion.

“Am I supposed to see what you’re destroying? Because I cant. It’s happening too fast,” he wrote.

And that’s when the alarms started ringing. He had entered the 6 foot 8 gaming great’s radar. The Doc manifested all of his PC master race energy and responded, “You controller players got a lot to learn…”. For those that are unaware, Nickmercs uses a SCUF Infinity 4PS PRO MFAM controller, unlike Doc who’s primarily a mouse and keyboard player.

Nickmercs didn’t take it sitting down and responded with a hilarious dig of his own. He referenced the NFT controversy marring the two-time back gaming studio’s upcoming game, saying, “Ur lil game better have aim assist. Already pissin me off with the NFT bullshit. Lock it in old man.”

Dr DisRespect has defended Midnight Society’s decision to include NFTs in their title in the past and simply replied with “Dust off your Nintendo Wii”. 

At this point, the hilarity of the encounter got to Nickmercs. He broke character and reminded Doc of their 1v1 Goldeneye duel.

There’s never a boring day in the streaming world. Characters like Dr DisRespect always make things more interesting, and the community loves every second of it.
