Dragon’s Dogma 2 is releasing in ‘early 2024’ but when? The growing frustration around an official release window confirmation is evident. While the game has showcased some strong progress in schedule lately, the game’s release schedule still remains under the ‘early 2024’ banner. Well, until now! A credible source allegedly confirms the release dates of Dragon’s Dogma 2 for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC. 

Ever since Capcom revealed a glimpse of the sequel at the Tokyo Games Showcase 2023, the title had been subjected to a strong radio silence. But it hasn’t stopped the outgrowing hype building around its anticipated release. Moreover, with the latest confirmation of a 15-minute long livestream for the game, an in-schedule launch seems an obvious deduction. But still, the mystery of a firm release date when revealed would put out a lot of curious fires around. Thanks to a credible leak, the job has been done! 

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is arriving in March

The highly-awaited sequel to the blockbuster Capcom RPG Dragon’s Dogma has been subjected to a massive leak. Apparently, the game has been recently rated 18+ by PEGI, but it was something else that garnered the community’s attention. According to the tweet, the sequel to the classic is arriving on March 22 next year for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. 

The dates revealed by the source align with the launch window that Capcom has teased through their plans for the project. Moreover, with the recent buzz building around the game, a launch window in the first quarter of 2024 only seems plausible.

Earlier, a similar leak had suggested an official showcase announcement to be in the plans. A rating that surfaced from the official X account of the General Authority of Media Regulation in Saudi Arabia invited a lot of speculation that claimed Capcom’s official update on the sequel to be imminent. The projections were spot on as the developers confirmed the same in a matter of days. So, another similar rating incident would seem rational to all the fans observing the progress of the game.

With any sequel, the developers have an added baggage of pressure. The pressure of fan expectations is always tricky for a franchise. However, the confidence of the devs with the upcoming Capcom adventure has made the fans more invested in the process.

Also, with Resident Evil 4 Remake, Capcom has built a strong notion of faith among gaming fans. So, It will be interesting to see if the sequel can pull off what not most of the sequels can’t when the expectations are so high. Fortunately, we won’t be waiting for long, the countdown to March begins.
