After the colossal success of Marvel studio’s MCU, the marvel superheroes have become a household name. From movies, comics, and animated features to games, Marvel heroes are everywhere and fans love it. That is why when one of the biggest game publishers, EA, announced that they are making yet another game based on one of the most popular Marvel characters of all time, fans couldn’t hold their excitement!

After the initial news of EA working on a Black panther game, there were some rumors that EA’s subsidiary, Motive, is working on another Marvel game. On September 20, Motive posted a tweet on their official Twitter account, confirming their collaboration with Marvel Games. Expressing their thrill and excitement by saying, “this is an exciting new adventure for our studio.” Fans were also ecstatic, knowing that all those rumors and speculations were true.

EA officially announces their latest Marvel collaboration

Motive’s parent company, Electronic Arts, posted a detailed article on its official website, giving more insight into the news. This article gave a detailed view of the game. It confirmed that the game is a single-player, third-person, action-adventure Iron Man video game. The game is currently in the early development stage.

Olivier Proulx, who in the past worked on other Marvel games like Guardians of the Galaxy, leads the team behind the development. Also, the developing team features industry veterans like Ian Frazier, Maëlenn Lumineau, and JF Poirier.

What will this Iron Man game be like?

EA announced that with this collaboration with Marvel Games, they are developing an Iron Man game. This game will have an original narrative tapping into the rich history of Iron Man. They will bring the charisma, complexity, and creative genius of the character, making the players truly feel like Tony Stark while playing the game.

The game will be a single-player, action-adventure title, so fans started speculating that they could have taken some inspiration from Sony’s Spider Man games.

The game is currently in pre-production and new updates will be posted further along the development. EA has hinted that this game is the first in line for many more Marvel collaborations in the near future. Marvel and EA fans are in for a treat!
