In order to do that, they are now going to bring certain spooky elements. To be precise, the title will witness the reveal of a huge event, while also giving the players a haunting experience!

Season 6 of MWII and Warzone is on its way, as confirmed by the makers recently. It will end up offering tons of content to the fans. Being the last major update, it will also unleash unique gameplay-related events for them in both Multiplayer as well as the Battle Royale format. Similar to the Trophy Hunt from Season Season 3, MWII will now receive something called The Haunting: Soul Capture. Now that just sounds way too scary!

What is The Haunting: Soul Capture event in Call of Duty Modern Warfare II Season 6?

Basically, one can call it a fear-inducing variation on the popular Trophy Hunt. Players will get to witness it across all game modes ranging from Multiplayer to battle royale and DMZ. Oh, and all the Souls will get automatically added to a player’s total in all game modes. Simply put, there’s no need to go to the Buy Station in Call of Duty Warzone or DMZ this time. Eventually, these Souls can be traded for lucrative items shown in the Events Tab. This information was recently revealed in an official blog focusing on Season 6.

Another interesting part of this event is that players will be able to increase the number of Souls they capture by taking down a number of monsters as well. They will be seen lurking across the Warzone maps like Al Mazrah and Vondel. Moreover, players will also have the chance to earn highly amazing themed items for their efforts.

What else is coming with Season 6 in Modern Warfare II?

The Haunting: Soul Capture event is not the only major highlight of the upcoming season. There’s a lot more to look forward to. For example, fans will get to have a taste of Zombies as well. It’s already known that Modern Warfare III will feature the undead upon its release. Hence, the makers have decided to unleash them in advance with a mid-season Zombies Royale mode, planned for Halloween.

Moreover, Season 6 will also offer multiple crossovers filled with licensed Operators. They will be based on fictional and gaming characters from other franchises, such as Lilith from Diablo 4. Not to mention that Ash from the Evil Dead universe will also be there!

Last but not least, players will get to use three new weapons in the last update of MWII. An assault rifle named TR-76 Geist, ISO 9mm SMG, and Dual Kamas melee weapon is what they will receive in Season 6’s Battle Pass. However, the most interesting element about the awaited update has got to be the Soul Capture event. It will be interesting to see everyone will try to amass as many Souls as possible.
