This game intrigued players to know more about the game’s lore and contents. In fact, Starfield also appeared to provide a similar kind of clunkiness among gamers to explore its universe and have the motivation to keep doing so. This Reddit user seemed really dissatisfied with Starfield as he rated Bethesda’s Xbox exclusive lower than 9/10.

What went wrong with Starfield?

This Starfield fan explained certain negative highlights from the game. For example, he mentioned that Starfield is a space exploration game, where people are not allowed to control spaceships for going into planets, but it can be done through a UI button. Players need to invest a lot of time on the user interface map to understand and remember locations. Additionally, players cannot move to a different place while building a spaceship.

Furthermore, this fan criticizes the combat techniques of the game, stating how enemy AI is weaker in the game. Not only that, but this gamer also mentioned how space exploration in Starfield is just about roaming around empty spaces with planet backdrops or barren wastelands. This means that there aren’t many immersion scopes in Starfield. Finally, the last negative aspect of Starfield appears to be its lack of emotional depth and narrative in the game. This particular player found Starfield’s narrative quite generic with extremely bad body animations, which made the characters look static in the game.

Although the reviews are quite alarming, one should wait for Starfield’s official release on the 6th of September to rate it themselves.
