Now, NetherRealm’s fighting game had a moderate opening on Switch. But that is not stopping the developers to sit back and relax. In fact, it looked like NetherRealm is surely making some crazy wild plans with their recent release Mortal Kombat 1.

Although the team spoke about a DLC with Omni-Man, Homelander, and Peacemaker’s entry for 2024’s launch, this recent comment from the studios’ CCO added much-needed fuel to fans’ excitement. Following the Mortal Kombat franchise’s long history with jaw-dropping surprises, fans wait for something unthinkable from the franchise.

NetherRealm’s COO promises Mortal Kombat 1 fans with more content

Ed Boon, the Chief Creative Officer of NetherRealms Studios commented about how developers planned some more mind blogging content for Mortal Kombat 1 fans- “We are only at the beginning of the ride with #MortalKonbat1. We look forward to sharing what’s koming next with a loong list of Fighters, Kameos and game features to kome!”

Mortal Kombat 1’s developers took the internet on storm before their fighting game’s release. From the game’s recent Kameo fighters to its star-studded cast, everywhere this title secured a promising headline. But after its launch, Switch users were disappointed with the game’s number of issues. But recently, along with the DLC’s hints, Boon announced that soon this title will go through a serious upgrade to fix the bugs.

Boon’s double surprises for Mortal Kombat 1 fans were really satisfying. Recently, last week another leak suggested some more DLCs for Mortal Kombat 1. Now that Boon also hinted about new Kameo fighters and more game features, fans are confused about whether Boon is speaking about the game’s much-awaited DLC Kombat Pack, which will probably be released in 2024.

This year, Mortal Kombat 1’s upcoming DLC Kombat Pack received equal attention from the game’s developers and fans. From Invincible’s Omni-Man to Homelander from the Boys, this upcoming DLC will be quite a star-studded affair featuring some great characters. Just not that, experience an intense fight with DC’s Peacemaker, Quan Chi, and Ermac. Although developers didn’t reveal many details, fans are sure there will be exclusive combat features and more fatality as usual. The leak suggested that Mortal Kombat 1’s Kombat Pack DLC is destined to be released in 2024.

While this news might completely take away the sleep from players, NetherRealm’s recent release Mortal Kombat 1 is there to keep fans motivated for this Kombat Pack release. Till then, fans can enjoy Jean Claude Van Damme’s Jonny Cage to Megan Fox’s Nitara in the game.
