Ever since Konami rebranded Pro Evolution Soccer as eFootball, the game has seen several monumental changes to its structure and core. The game is supposed to launch on September 30th and by the word “launch”, Konami is just giving players access to a few of the features which essentially feel like using a demo version of the game.

For this year’s eFootball, Konami has created a $40 Premium DLC which can be claimed for almost $40. What’s more baffling is that this content cannot be used in the game until the November 2021 update.

VGC reported that the “eFootball 2022 Premium Player Pack” will be available on the Xbox and PlayStation stores and will be available at $39.99. The DLC will contain the base eFootball game, 6 Chance Deals, 2800 eFootball Coins, and 2 extra Chance Deals for pre-ordering. The catch with all of this is that players cannot redeem this content till the mid-November update of 2021.
Furthermore, players won’t have the chance to claim players in the game or spend their eFootball Coins. The only option available to them would be local or online friendlies with any of the nine available teams.

The aforementioned November update, which is also going to be Konami’s first major update for the game since its launch will bring about new modes such as Creative Teams into the game. This feature is very much similar to FIFA’s Ultimate Team, where players build their own squad to compete online. Other features such as Master League, Match Passes, and more will be included with the upcoming update.

The game will also allow players to play cross-platform with players from iOS, Android, PC, PlayStation, and Xbox and to compete against one another.
