Elden Ring creator won’t play the game after its launch!

Firstly, Hidetaka Miyakazi answered the most important question that was revolving in many people’s heads. When asked why there are no actual rings in the game, he said that there are various reasons for this. Explaining the first, he said that in the past games of FromSoftware, his team explored rings as “equippable items a lot.”

Thus, this time they wanted to have a slightly varied approach to the designs of the rings in Elden Ring.

“And the second reason is that, of course, rings do exist as physical ‘finger rings’ in this game, but more as unique items that are involved in the story and unique character events.”

Hence, Miyakazi’s team wanted the rings to have a certain special positioning in the world of Elden Ring. And yes, they wanted them to be very different in terms of the overall design as well “in relation to the talismans.

Moreover, the creator then said something really unexpected and surprising, to say the least. Well, it’s true that Elden Ring is the most ambitious project that he’s worked on for a long time, but it’s likely that Miyakazi won’t play it.

He said that it won’t feel like a fresh experience at all, since he’s already worked on it a lot in the making. Basically, he has tasted the experience the game offers, thanks to the development phase.

“I probably won’t end up playing Elden Ring because it’s a game I’ve made myself. This is sort of my personal policy. You wouldn’t get any of the unknowns that the fresh player is going to experience. Like I said before, it wouldn’t feel like playing.”

However, he made one thing very clear that new players who enter the world of Elden Ring for the first time will be satisfied. That’s because the team of developers has made it with elements that will make the players love the game.

As a piece of additional information, the game doesn’t feature forced mounted combat, which may be a useful strategy during certain sequences.
