After years gone in anticipation, Elden Ring is finally ready to hit store shelves this weekend; it would undermine the game’s stature to refer to it simply as the next iteration of the Souls formula. Developer FromSoftware’s upcoming venture is being treated as a phenomenon by its fanbase. Furthermore, it seems like even prominent streamers like Valkyrae are boarding the hype train as well.

Valkyrae has Elden Ring on her mind

The co-owner of 100 Thieves received a comment from Andy Cortez of ‘Kinda Funny’ fame.

That Elden Ring fans have had the title in their minds since its E3 2019 reveal is no secret. With its vast fantasy world sprawling with elements handcrafted by George R. R. Martin himself, it is going to be an epic ride for any gamer brave enough to venture into its lands.

FromSoftware’s games always treat their player base to a setting that players cannot get out of their head. They are rich and detailed; furthermore, this is barely scratching the surface of Elden Ring as it would boast gameplay crafted by a developer that is a master of the genre.

Accordingly, it is no wonder Andy has been “dreaming about Elden Ring.” As players have a lot to look forward to.

The American streamer has her fair share of experience with FromSoftware titles. She famously streamed ‘Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice’ to her audience in the past. It was a hilarious stream that saw Valkyrae falling in love with the game’s physics and explorative elements. However, in proper Sekiro fashion, the variety of mini-bosses wrecked the streamer, leading to some hysterical shrieks and antics.

But with this experience comes the possibility that Rae would fare much better in ‘The Lands Between’ when she streams the game for her fanbase. Furthermore, many fans are calling for an easy mode for the upcoming release.

While this would make the game easier for players to complete, it would take away from Rae’s fabulous reactions that fans love when she gets decimated in-game.
